I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, where I studied digital/online and print journalism and minored in Tourism Development and Management.
I am a staff writer for the Downtown Phoenix Journal, covering news and feature stories in the downtown Phoenix area for the magazine’s website. During my final semester, I held a position with the Gannett New Media Innovation Lab as a researcher and content producer, assisting in the research and development of multimedia projects and smartphone applications. I have interned at The Arizona Republic, covering breaking news and feature stories in the West Valley of Phoenix; Ahwatukee Foothills News, writing news and feature stories for the website and the newspaper; and Green Living AZ, managing the magazine’s social media accounts.
